A Note From A.J.

    Summer is officially here and I hope you are taking every opportunity to enjoy it as much as you can. We have talked to some of our clients who’ve had the pleasure of traveling to far away places but the high gas prices have kept most of us closer to home this year. A few economical and family fun ideas that we’d like to share with you is; camping, a picnic, hiking, biking or taking a long walk. An evening of putt-putt golf is always fun. There’s lot’s to do if you just think about it…. Anything from a backyard barbeque to spending the day at Adventure Land, Point Mallard or heading up to Chattanooga. The important thing is to spend time with family & friends and have fun!

Speaking of long trips. Connie and her husband Tim just got back from New York. Tim went up there for classes to do with his job and Connie went along to take in the sites. They had a great time and saw a lot. She took about 700 pictures. Not room for them here but I will share a few of them with you in this newsletter.

My oldest son, Justin, started working at Chick Fil A and my youngest son, Adam, and I are about to start art lessons. My wife, Lisa, and I recently celebrated our 20th anniversary on the 24th of June. Well, actually I was at a photography class in Huntsville that entire evening. If anyone has any ideas that would possibly get me out of the “dog house” I sure would appreciate you sharing them with me. I need them quick too! Our dog Chloe just had 8 puppies so it’s crowded in there.

This month we’ll be creating some very nice “Watermelon Patch” portraits. Check out a sample later in this newsletter. This is also the time of year for patriotic portraits. We have backgrounds and props for all ages. If you’d like a patriotic type portrait or one in a stack of watermelons give us a call at 734-6800 and we’ll get it scheduled for you.

We’re looking for child models for Alabama & Auburn Football themed portraits. If you’re interested give us a call. You will receive a complimentary studio session and 50% off all photos from that session.
